Seán Matthew Deibler

Seán Deibler, beloved founder and Music Director of The Music Group of Philadelphia, passed away on August 19, 2009.

There is an In Memoriam page for Seán on Facebook where friends can post reminiscences and comments.

A Memorial Celebration of his life and work was held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the church of St Luke and The Epiphany, Philadelphia.

Our Goal

The Music Group of Philadelphia is dedicated to performing the finest choral literature of all musical periods for mixed vocal ensemble with special emphasis on innovative and contemporary compositions.

The Music Group's goal is to educate audiences and performers about the art of choral music and to enhance community awareness of and access to great choral literature.
